Talk by Jessica Kahkoska with students at ERAM in Girona

American screenwriter Jessica Kahkoska discussed the archives and experience of women at the Nuremberg trials in a talk with second-year Performing Arts students at the ERAM University School of Arts in Girona. The students have been working on political theatre and documentaries, and this talk complemented what they have learned, giving them a practical example from a professional in the sector.

Jessica Kahkoska (New York, USA) writes for theatre and television. She has been part of numerous productions on channels such as CNN, Discovery and Discovery+. Right now, she is working on a project that explores the experience of women at the Nuremberg trials. She uses research in the historical archives to unearth the identities of forgotten women and trace their roles in the courtroom. Kahkoska explores gender, power and human rights.
